I am always looking for new ways to make money. I love to read and write and I have successfully self-published a novella. I really enjoy learning and I find the best way for me to learn is to share what I've gained with others.

Couponing at CVS & Walgreen 2/15/2023: Rebuilding my stockpile

I've been working on slowly rebuilding my stockpile. Today I went to CVS and Walgreens to pick up a few things. I decided to use my accounts that have gone neglected for quite some time.  CVS I went into CVS with only one coupon for 40% off of one item.  The paper towels and toilet paper were a little out of my budget this week at CVS, so I walked around the store for a bit and scanned this week's ad for some easy deals that wouldn't cost too much and would give me some ExtraBucks (store cash). Also, despite the fact that toothpaste is almost always on promotion, I didn't want to get any more because we already have more than we can use. I'm trying to coupon for things we really need.  The Jergens lotion is not on sale this week, but it is on a promotion of buy 1 get $2 Extrabucks. Sudden Credit Score Drop: Reality Check

You’ve worked hard. It took you roughly a year and a half to raise your credit score by 180 points. You only have two negative items left on your credit report, but the rest of your accounts are positive. You make sure to pay your bills on time every month, even if it is the minimum payment amount. Then, your heart skips a beat, your stomach turns, and you become nauseous. You receive a notice from your credit monitoring service alerting you to the fact that your new credit card has been posted to your credit report and your score has decreased by 160 points. Walgreens Shopping 7/25/2021 - How to Coupon at Walgreens

So, I started this blog with the intent of sharing my financial journey. It has been a rollercoaster, but I have learned a lot along the way. I figured one of the best ways I can help anybody reading this blog in search of any type of help is by sharing my shopping trips where I coupon heavily, my unique ways of earning money, and how I generally live outside of the box. So, here's my shopping trip at Walgreens from 8/5/2021. It's kinda crazy that if this stuff wasn't on sale and if I didn't have coupons, that it would have cost me over $50. Instead, my subtotal came to $25.99 and I got $4 back in Walgreens cash. It could have been lower had I not been pickier about brands than I usually am. Usually, I don't have a preference for paper towels or toilet paper brands, but I'm tired of Scott Comfort toilet paper.
